if i don't laugh, i'll cry!

this beautiful screen appeared again today, the third time in less than one week, and after formating the computer twice, reinstalling all the drivers, scanning all my external devices, and not plugging anything else in my computer...

so, this is a challenge for engineers! any ideas?

Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Lala, Poooo....

- so, what are you doing now?
- just reading and answering mails, i have nearly 20 in 2 days!
- ok, i'll leave you then, i'll go back to my room...

... oh, surprise!
[...]

standing at the door, waiting to go in, and the 2 girls inside...

- take that face off, be serious, they will make jokes with you if they see you like that... come on, it can't be so difficult... ok, no way, i'll go in anyway and they just can say whatever, i don't care :)

winter solstice... in spring

i don't think the longest night of the year is the 22nd of december. probably it was yesterday...

easter week 1, easter week 2

strange weeks. frst one everyone was on holiday except architects, but we actually behaved as if we were! and then it was our actual holiday week, but without moving from stockholm.
and so many things have happened. probably even more emotionally, so when i think in one or two weeks ago it seems ages...

- on sunday (16th) not much, i needed to sleep, rest...
but at night jana invited all of us to dinner. she cooked for all, and delicious as always! (thanks again jana!) we were too many people to go inside someone's flat, so we just organised the dinner in the 2nd floor's corridor! it was not the first time they did it, but it was for me, really funny to see...
then we went on with our gaming tradition, but i couldn't stay long, i was too tired :( i just went a while with the portuguese, that had also invited for dinner, and home.

- but fully back to life on monday (17th). just to waste ourselves again at night :P sangria party! to try our new cumbres de gredos (as good as always, we are so proud, haha). and we stayed until victor's friends had to leave :(
and another necessary talk (sincere and revealing, though, i learned a lot), and watch the snow falling until dawn...

*just a short reflexion here... it's very nice to meet your friends' friends, it helps you understand a bit more about their lives, and you get to know very interesting people. and better the more time you spend with them. but then you really feel it when they leave. it's a strange feeling, because you know that you're probably not going to see them again, even if you know it's people with whom you could get along well, and any intention of getting again in contact would seem nonsense. but... it's like that. and i'm not saying this now just for victor's friends, but also for andrea's, maite's, alberto's...*

- back again on tuesday 18th, i thought it was going to be everything white after all the night snowing, but not so! btw, it has been all the week so cold! -7º, -12º... and not so much snow on the ground, but frozen so it stays, and it's quite slippery :$ so what better than staying at home! i just went out to the swimming pool, and at night we organised a "meeting" to discuss about our easter trip, and although it seemed we were never going to decide, we did! (whatever happened finally is another story)
and a film all together in my place, and... not going to bed, but talking. one of those close conversations. and not sleeping either that day, kind of nervous. this damned insomnia it's going to bring me crazy...

- so when i was supposed to go to class on wednesday (19th), i hadn't been able to fall asleep yet :$ so up side down day.
anyway, and maybe because of this, it was the "bubble" day i wrote about the snow, the walk and so on...
at night we had a dinner in lukas's (btw, with victor's new friends, that had just arrived and stayed one week) and then we went to allhuset, with its wonderful dj :P
and as i had got up late, i couldn't go to sleep early, again. so i waited, chatted, watched the snow again... :)

- and thursday (20th) was one of the best days in stockholm, and not only because spring started! it was a very special day for the girls. andrea, maite, rosa, belen and me. we organised a very nice lunch, and afterwards an event we had been waiting for since august: dawson's creek's 4 final chapters! everything well prepared and planned, we even disconnected the doorbell :P and when it finished, a bottle of white wine to cheer, and a kind of party. you might not understand, but it was very special to share that moment, for what it meant, what it represented :) we just missed laia, but she "was" with us!

at night the girls didn't want to go out, but i did. and i explained everyone why it was our special day, so we knew it was my night! we went to have some drinks in lukas´s and to vanilla club. we didn't stay long because it was quite empty, but the way back home was sooo funny! i liked that :)
we came back to lukas´s but didn't stay so long. it was funny that we had a "room-rearrangement", so half of us slept somewhere else! oh, and i did finally sleep, no room for nerves i guess...

- on friday we took it a bit slower. it was a strange day, too much of thinking maybe, but at night we watched a film in victor's, and it was just the perfect one for our mood, at least for andrea and me, we came back so happy home...
and later just a good night hug to go to sleep feeling better about everything...

- saturday 22nd, pillow fight! organised in several cities around the world, and here it was in sergels torg. so funny! we then went to have a coffee, and home.
and i finally changed my hair! purple and green-turquoise this time!
so surprise for everyone when i appeared later... we went to have some drinks in alex's, and we planned to go to grand garbo, but people under 23 couldn't go in, so we went to the hellsbar instead. and cute moments with my people, close conversations, silly looks and lots of joking. the night started sooo well... that i couldn't imagine it was going to go wrong, but it did. we went to lukas´s to continue with the party, but then i heard (and saw) something i didn't want to hear :( sorry for those i worried, and thank you for reminding me what we have here in sundby, we are family!

- on sunday i went for a walk with maite in sundby, and we bought "all" the coop, haha. so happy! so many red spots! :P
and then i think we all needed a family dinner, so we went to igor's. and it was really nice, even with crepes! (congratulations diego!)

- and we didn't do much the next day either (24th). we had to work a bit and then went to the second floor corridor for our gaming tradition, and to finish the sangria!
and then back to watching the snow late at night. cold outside, warmth inside. restored the previous situation...

- so the next day i skipped sigtuna, but joined for a coffee and chocolate cake with victor's friends! and coming back just in time for a wonderful dinner gerard's parents prepared for all of us, to meet us. mum´s food, and tipically spanish, so nice!
then we had a meeting in the corridor (odd situation, even more when victor started giving excuses in english to gerard's mum!), and we ended up playing cards in the elevator, even with chairs! such things can only happen here... haha.

- wednesday (26) morning, special breakfast to celebrate lukas's birthday! he was too german for us, he arrived too early for the surprise :P sorry about that! but it was nice anyway...
then a pleasant walk with maite, along the north west part of södermalm, going a bit through the north pole :P (we had this joke because it was all white and frozen, even with stalactites hanging from the rocks!). i then joined victor and friends to visit the architecture museum, and have a swedish lunch in östermalm's market.
we came home just to get the swedish books and go to class. everyday more exasperating! but i'll try...
back at home we invaded lukas's place to give him his present and be with him in his day! we stayed until victor's friends had to leave. then a round of good night kisses, and that was it.

- thursday was a bit frustrating. last attempt to try to make the trip, but it failed. and general indecision really got on my nerves. thanks that i found a calming oasis around, perfect moment, or quite a long while in fact :)
but at night i pushed myself to go out, and we went to cafe bojan. alberto, lukas and me, precisely the three most disappointed about the trip. but we had our trip to universitetet! the tunnelbana the best part, i told you, so funny... (thank you guys!) then we met everyone else in cafe bojan, and we had a lot of fun. and i saw some people i hadn't seen in ages, so happy! then the way back home was also funny, so many people coming together to sundby... we went a while to pedro's when we arrived, but not much. a while more at home, and then to sleep. great night, it was such a good idea to go out!

- on friday (28th) after lunch we went for a walk to stockholm. we walked along half södermalm and half kungsholmen, so by the time we had dinner we were starving! but after a perfect walk, what better than a perfect dinner? and completely satisfied and happy, back to sundby to watch a film.
i went to bed surprisingly early, but i was woken up afterwards
, you know i can't just sleep normally one night... :$

- saturday 29: there was a metal festival in vallentuna, but before we gathered here to try andrea's -successful- experiment! then a 1 hour trip, a beer hiding from the ticket inspector, and a half-empty concert, but great! the place was incredible, a "youth house" so big, so well prepared. and the groups were good in fact! just 2 of them were a bit too strong for us, but sounded good still. and 1 litre coffees, a cosy corner...
back to stockholm and, although half of the group decided to go home, we didn't. lukas, alberto, heidi and me went to ace, and there we met 3 other friends from lappis! i really had fun, thank you for that night!

- and to finish our holidays as it deserved, on sunday (30th) we burned the last round. we first went walking from sundbyberg to karlberg along the lake shore, with really nice weather and views.
we came back and had a nice dinner here at home. and then went to prepare all the calimotxo for the 100 minutes game... part II: the revenge! this time it was "professional style", with music in the backround, the drinks already prepared, much better organised...
and what else can i say, you can only understand it if you live it! just say whoever cleans the terrace will be happy when he/she sees it...
as for me, i did my part! i had these feminine supporters cheering me up, and i couldn't deceive them! :P
and a sweet moment with andrea playing cinderella, crazy things you wouldn't consider in normal situations... and who knows what more we can't remember!

*btw, how exciting going back to the terrace!*

such a long time!

before serbia...

- wednesday 13: we woke up preparing a girls dinner for that night, we had lunch together and, after changing plans several times, we finally ended up having dinner all together in gerard's room.
before that of course swedish homework and swedish class, but then we had our reward. very nice dinner, and very nice way of saying goodbye to everyone.
then i tried to tidy up or prepare the luggage but i couldn't, so i went to diego's and then to laia's, and stayed there some time with her and lukas. then she came back home with me and we had a nice long talk as we used to have :)

oh, and yes, i finished everything late enough for not sleeping much, as in every trip!

- thursday 14: some people came to have breakfast here together, and then goodbye, get my things and to the airport...

-- budapest, serbia, macedonia --

- saturday 1: we arrived from our trip straight to laia's goodbye party. it was a strange bunch of feelings, meeting everyone after almost 3 weeks, realising that we had missed a lot of things here, but also that people had missed us and it could be noticed (so many caring gestures! :)), knowing that laia was about to leave and we couldn't assimilate it so quickly, tired but partying...

btw, the party was great. we had made some t-shirts for all of us, and it was a surprise for laia. then she sang something for us, we took lots of group pictures...
and i slept very well, feeling at home... (thanks :))

- sunday 2: basically recovering from the trip, the party, the farewells... both phisical and emotionally.

- monday 3: class, work all afternoon at home. dinner at home and games evening at victor's. it was our first day there, but since we left to serbia they started organising these evenings every monday, and every time there's more and more people!

- tuesday 4: i wanted to be at home in the morning beacuse andrea was leaving to barcelona. then to class, dinner at home, and we went to the jam session. but in a different mood, we didn't even watch the band, we were in another room talking and so, very nice. when we came back to sundbyberg everyone went home, except some of us that stayed for a long while in the 2nd corridor, tender moments :)

- wednesday 5: we couldn't go skating because sundbyberg's rink was closed. so i decided to go for a walk around sundbyberg. i hadn't gone that far before, and t's so nice! the park, the lake, hundred of ducks again, the tower, the church... and sunny! so perfect.
then back home to do my swedish essay, lunch with maite, and swedish class. the first half we were thinking about leaving the course, but the second half was not so bad, so i think we will try to continue a bit further...
we organised a dinner in my flat, then we went to victor's to prepare some more cumbres de sundby (we will have 46 litres this time!) and then a film. back home, a nice snowfall, and as i didn't want to go down to the snow, the snow came to me :D

- thursday 6: mainly working all day, surprisingly. and at night puting everything together for the final presentation.

and btw, manuel and roel were back here that weekend! it was so great to see them here again...

- friday 7: all morning in school, and in the afternoon the final presentation. sooo long! 7 hours discussing seriously about useless things. but at least we passed what in madrid woud be proyects8, and without even drawing a plan! unbelievable...
at night we all went to berns, in östermalm. basically it was me with 16 guys, funny picture...

- saturday 8: lazy day, sunday lunch, and party at home at night. not so long as other days because we wanted to go out afterwards, but as nice. we went to ace, in hötorget, and we really liked it, was a great night. and finally i got a little help and i could sleep a bit (i know it might sound strange, but that week without andrea i found it difficult to sleep...) :)

and on sunday silvia came and i already wrote about that, so you know the rest now...

soap bubbles just float for a while

as we all know, snow can't last forever. after 4 days snowing, today it stopped. there is still some in the street, and it might snow again some other day, but as i see it now i think it's going to melt and that's it...

but anyway, no one can take from me now the memory of these "bubble" days...

walking in the air...

yesterday i finally went to the swimming pool (yes laia, i did! these people can prove it!), and it was really nice.

and i remembered one thing... (alberto, do you remember when we made this proyect with berriochoa?) well, a year ago we made a proyect of a swimming pool, and this teacher told everyone, again and again, to put large windows because it would be so nice to see the snow falling while swimming, and we all thought that wasn't a good reason because in madrid never snows. but yesterday it did here! and i can say it's sooo nice to see the snow from the water :D

and today it was snowing all the day long, even with some sun at the same time! strange... so i went for a walk with gerard, around sundbyberg's lake. and there wasn't enough snow on the floor to jump around, but it was great to feel the snowflakes on the face...

ps: this is the soundtrack of today, i kind of feel like floating...
