it's a new dawn, it's a new day

strange, one week here and still feeling strange. it seems as if this wasn't normal life yet, all provisional, still waiting for everything to begin and everyone to come... and it's quite like that, some more people have to come, but not so many.

but every time we are all together, we feel as if we were waiting for someone else to knock on the door and come in. in fact, most days we are no more than 9! (from the sundby people that we used to be together) compare with the last dinner we organised, that we had to split into two groups because we couldn't fit all in one room...

i know we'll meet more people, and we'll start doing the same things and feeling the same way as before christmas, but right now there are so many empty spaces...
we don't go to 907 (not yet at least), and if we go to 507 we don't say "at richard's" anymore. "susana and ivo's" has become "the two chinese", we have no portuguese saying bad words in spanish, no dutch ignoring our bad jokes, and if we are going to organise something i can't send a message to all my sundbyberg's contacts as i used to.

i miss you people, and i'm not the only one. i hope you manage to come back some days these months, you know you have a place here...

Hej hej!

I was there in fall 06...And how much I miss it!The Sundby barbecues, the parties in the spanish rooms, the portuguese (we) saying spanish bad words, everything!
I didn't have your experience, as I was the first to leave, but I can imagine: the days just don't taste like magic, the way they used to.
Nice blog!

hey toto! yes it's the same workshop, we're going to work with people from delft, belgrade and rome. but what a coincidence!
btw, we're leaving the 21st finally, so maybe you can come before :)

and rike, thanks for posting! it's always nice to hear from old sundby people... i guess some things never change here, right? :)
and i hope this "sundby feeling" remains long after leaving...
